After a period of time spent on preparing our new test facility, the wait came to an end last week. We received our new label inspection demo system from Japan.
When we opened the box, we saw that everything had been prepared and packed with the customary Japanese accuracy. We took the system out, connected all the leads and started up our new baby. A few days later, our colleagues from the Land of the Rising Sun came over to support us in the start-up phase and to provide some training.
Even more significant was the fact that one of our customers was already waiting for D Day. A security label printer had shown interest in our new inspection system. The test was successfully carried out with the help of our Japanese colleagues.
In the next few weeks, we are expecting more material samples to arrive in our office. Since we started the promotion of this new technology earlier this year, the market has shown a strong interest. In September, our new machine will go on its travels again: we are going to exhibit this system at label expo in Brussels.
